2021.1 bunION

Never had one.

2021.2 onION

Tasty when sauteed or fried. I discovered my affinity for red ones- raw or cooked- just a couple of years ago. Prior to that discovery, my taste buds only believed in the sweet Vidalia or yellow variety. I cry most times when I cut into them. Even when I seemingly follow the same cutting regimen as the last time. However, since I am sensitive to most things I’m not shocked that the mere cutting of the acidic ‘fruit’ is enough to activate my tear ducts. I, too, have a bitter sweetness to me. I cry when I’m cut into by people, so whether I am being cut or doing the cutting, I cry. Tears are the price to get to the deliciousness of life.

2021.3 iON

Why not reflect on this one as one of the first few since some expected it to be the first entry. I am ON. Just to play with the language symbols we use to communicate messages.

When we break things down to their smallest, base parts we can be reminded just how small we really are. Sometimes, in our questions to make things easier, we categorize (or box) things together much too broadly and meaning is diminished, value is depleted, uniqueness is deleted. BUT, if we can REframe every Thing back to its proper, separate intent, then we REturn each Thing to its greater or rather greatest form. Consider each person, not just people. Consider each thing, not just things. Consider each idea, not ideas.

Perhaps?

I mean, do I believe this in all respects or are there special cases? BUT, then, even excepting some things as special cases and eliminating the need for a group of things to go back to A thing are extra-ordinary circumstances; thus each condition still maintains meaning and value and uniqueness. So yes, I believe in returning to small. Be an ION.
