WHAT: A research study delving deeper into annual school climate survey results, especially those collected during and after the Pandemic. Through this analysis, more insight into the realities teachers and students face will be gained, and also inform decision-making.
WHO: High school teachers between 2019 and present who taught/teach in either Montgomery County, MD or Prince George’s County, MD. Join one of our focus groups, comprised of concerned educators like you who want to be an active part of the change. Each group will be 3-5 educators.
WHEN: Between November 2025 and January 2026, in-person and virtual meeting options. One focus group session, 90 minutes. Dates are flexible and will be determined by the participants in each group.
WHY: Your perspective on student engagement and academic achievement after the Pandemic is needed to inform instructional decisions and practices that are relevant to the students in front of us today. The annual Maryland School Climate Survey captures WHAT issues students and educators face, but not WHY or HOW to fix them. Your insights are the keys needed to unlock the survey results.
HOW: RSVP TODAY for one of our upcoming focus groups! Limited spaces available!
